Addictions rehab is one of the biggest forms of rehabilitation today, sadly. I myself have been to in patient rehab, as well as out patient rehab. Most of the people that go to rehab are people with addictions such as, marijuana or pot, cocaine, gambling, and eating disorders. Things to consider if you're going to send a loved one, or yourself to rehab. Will your healthcare cover the expense? Does the person actually have an addiction? Or are they trying to seek help for different problems in the form of drugs or alcohol. I went to addictions rehab for drug and alcohol addiction, it was unsuccesful the first time because I was not willing to make a change. The second time I went to addictions rehab I made better choices, and after a few slips, I was able to control my urges better, and thus, felt better. Once addicted, you never become not addicted, you constantly have to maintain yourself, in order to keep control of your mind.
